I'm a Nissan and other various brand dealer in Connecticut. Unfortunately that's how the car business works, unless you put a deposit down on the car the dealership has every right to sell it to any one else. It is unfortunate for you and as a fellow Z owner I feel for you. Also until the new model Altima, we have had a great deal of problems with them, I'd say about 20 percent of Altima's we sold up until about 2005 come back with blown engines, and others have various other problems, so if you do decide to buy one I wold like you to seriously think the car through and make sure it's the right choice. There are a lot of great cars out there for the right price. Well good luck with the future search, good hunting.
